Question

My name is Robert Lee Martin, i am named after my Grandfather's

Robert Dale Martin,

and

Edward Lee Stone.

my dad (being from texas) tried to get my mom to name me "Robert E Lee Martin" (i'm glad she said No)

When my hubby was born, his dad was away in the military, and his mom automatically named the new baby Robert Paul Jr. Later, his dad said he would've liked to name him Gabriel. Ah well... now he takes it as a spiritual name. Gabriel means messenger.

I wasn't named after anyone though. : )

My name is JoAnn, after my great uncle Joe and aunt Ann. Their children all died in the Holocaust and they had no one to take on their name. They were the ones that sponsored my grandmother to come to America (she was on an underground railroad through Europe to avoid the Nazis). I'm pretty psyched to be named after them.
