The factor that has the biggest influence is budget.
Your putting the onus's on your parents should you not have a discussion with them and let them have an
idea as to the costs to various systems.
The games are rather cheap when compared to the cost of the system.
So sit down and discuss it with them and you will have a Win - Win situation.
