I have about 30 pairs of shoes and I don't want them to be damaged by crowding.

You can usually get clear plastic shoe boxes at a dollar store for a dollar. If $30 is too much at one time, buy $5 worth one week and so on. I have most of mine stored this way. It keeps them from getting dusty. Plus I can see what is in each box. I keep my knee high boots in their own boxes.

Go to Walmart or Target or Zellers in Canada and buy the things where you store your shoes, they look like a little cage thing. I think they store about six pair in each storage space. You can buy them in different sizes I believe.

Store them in your closet (space provided) in their original box. Take a polaroid picture of it and tape it to the outside of the box for easy looking.

If you don't have the original boxes, then you can go to Wal-Mart or Target and purchase clear (or colored) storage bins. They even make them specifically for shoes!!

This one's easy. Just stuff your shoes with old newspaper, tightly packed. Then wrap them in the same and toss them in a box or storage bin until needed.

You can get under bed organizers or over door organizers for under $20 bucks. I have over 80 pr. and these work for me. I use the original boxes for boots, which don't fit well in the organizers.
