you could put an ad in your community newspaper, or ask your neighbors if they know anyone, or ask your teachers they might be able to refer you to someone. good luck.

Well, if I were you, I would try going to some of the local areas where kids or preschool kids go after school, such as karate, gymnastics, dance, something that goes on year round. Parents at these places are ALWAYS looking for someone to babysit. If you just introduce yourself around there and get to know the parents, you can have a great opportunity. Also, these people are usually a little more wealthier, having put their kids in disciplined participation year round. Hope that helps!!

Well depending on what state you live in, and the laws concerning minors working, you could try a fast food restaurant. I got my first job when I was 14, at a sub shop, and 14 was the minimum age at the time. There were some restrictions, like I couldn't work past 8:00 at night, things like that, but I would check into that if you really want a job.

In this day and age it's harder for youngsters to get work in one sense but in others, where both parents work or want social lives, it's easy if you do baby sitting. Maybe using bulletin boards at your local supermarket advising people you do baby sitting will do the trick. Or you could fork out a few dollars and place an ad in the paper or use a community paper if you can't afford to pay. Another idea will e to go to local schools and kinders and tell them you're available. Hope this helps. And 10/10 for wanting to work, so many expect a free ride in life.

Ok, the only places that will hire 14 is the fast food chains, also depending on where your from those hometown buffets, country buffets, those sort of places will hire this age for bussing tables. Most of these place you will also get tips, which is nice to have a daily cash flow. But your options will open up more at 16. Hope this helps. Good luck!

Since you can't get a real job you are lumbered with mowing grass, washing cars or a paper round.
None of the three sound very nice but then again, real jobs not very good either!!! lol

I think babysitting is a great idea. I would look in the newspaper, put flyer's in your neighborhood, and in school. I hope this helps you.
