Would Africa be more developed if majority of white people lived there?

I don't think so. I think its to do with these African governments. They so corrupts these African nations. Look at Nigeria Fourth largest oil producer in the world and its government is corrupt.

No.....but I do think that America should help certain countries out a little. Like Sudan with the whole Darfuar issue. Those people are being killed just because of their religion....it's a bad civil war and they need help badly. But the U.S. isn't gonna help them of course...at least not any time soon. Want to know why? Just because of the color of their skin. The U.S. government is too rapped up in the "war" on terror! It is really sad and selfish! Anyways the white people are why it is like this today! If Africa was left alone I'm sure it would have had a chance to develope...even more developed than "America". Think about it...white people didn't really build "America" it was the black people and other important immigrants that helped their lazy asses out!

No. Africa might be more developed if the European settlers never came there. That way they would not be taken away to face a lifetime of hardship, and discrimination. The European settlers soiled the peace of the african tribes. Now countries there are abundant in resources, but run by corrupt government leaders who don't let those resources be sold, for money, to give to the ever-so-poor economy of those countries. Africa is somewhat mid-industrial. It is developing, yes, but those development's are being slowed by the awful government leaders. Not only that, but Western governments warlike interferences in Africa.

No. I have been to Africa and have seen first hand how poor the countries are. The governments oppress the people and are richer than the countries because the people in power are corrupt. Educating the people certainly helps, but there needs to be a change from the top down.

Actually, who do you think helped Africa get this far??? I haven't heard of that many African Americans who have gone back to their country to try developing it more, have you? Besides, Africa is a beautiful place and sometimes 'underdevelopement' can be a blessing in disguise. Why does every country have to be a booming populace? The U.S. is so overdeveloped it scary. I think Africa is fine just as it is...don't you? Certainly the government is corrupt and takes advantage of its people, and yes, everyone in the world owns it, which isn't right. Africa belongs to its people and I hate the way the government there is so oppressive. Too bad we just can't get rid of who is in power there, but it's not for us to decide. When the citizens get teed off enough, they'll rebell and overthrow those in power. Besides, why would white people want to live there? They'd just end up making it a hell-hole of 'new business ventures' and commerce, with freeways and cars that are bad for the environment.

No. Africa would be more developed and politically and economically stable if the various European nations had left it alone instead of spending hundreds of years ripping it apart by colonizing it and exploting all of its natural resources. Read your world history. Even now, Africa owns the rights to very little of itself. European corporations or the World Bank still own everything.

All countries have corrupt governments, problem is Europeans have been suppling Africa with weapons which certainly makes it easier to declare war , than to produce food and stabile economies. Also natives to Africa tend to blame white people for all their problems .When they make the desicion to do things for themselves , they will start to develop faster. They cannot expect Europe to support them forever. Africans need to develop skilled people instead of soldiers. War tears countries apart. Now you have Al Queda throwing their piece into it, Africa is ripe for a fundamentalist group to come and take over. Africa is a easy target for "disciplined" armys. There are whites living there now, and there isn't much improvement. Complexion will not win the battle for Africans, it will take togetherness, skill, lots of love for one another. Sounds a little dreamish, but color shouldn't factor in here. Blacks helped to build America though...
