you have many ways to do this
if you have 2 windows you can right click on another drive that the other windows install on it and select format to format the drive and windows but if you have one windows :
if u want install windows XP or windows Vista you can use your Xp or Vista Cd , u must insert the cd in your drive and boot your pc on this drive for do this u must pess delete key when u turn on your computer and select the part that contain your boot list ( it`s different on each motherboard ) and select your drive that contain the XP or Vista cd az first boot drive , then save and exit from this options , after your computer restart , you can see a message that tell you press a key to boot from CD and press anykey to boot from cd , then waiting for the drive to read , after a few minutes in xp installation after you agree licence agreement you see a list of driver that you have on your harddisk and you can select the drive to format it , and install your new windows , but in vista installation root it`s different , but easier that windos xp installation , u can easilly select your drive to format it and select it for install windows vista , it`s very easy
good luck

It depends on your operating system. Get a windows 98 start up disk.. put it in the drive. reboot your computer. let it go till it stops. then type "format C:" it will say are you sure ? you type a y . but BE WARNED YOU MUST have the disk to re-install your system whether it is XP or 98. A tech SHOULD do this...but you can. but remember ALL DATA is lost during this procedure. Good luck.
PS: You can use the system restore if you choose. it is easier and safer.

Hopefully if your running a windows XP just do a system restore. This is one thing windows did correctly and it's a darn good way to get rid of trojans and worms and yucky stuff! hahaha If not this the answer to your question would be called reformating! ya better read up on this and you will need your windows master disk to perform this operation!

yes, they reformat, wipe your drive and windows along with it. then windows is reinstalled like new. you can do the same thing with the xp disk. but you loose everything. however a tech in some cases can save files. or you can burn them to a cd if your sure they are not infected.

there is not any reformat decision at that show screen there is besides the undeniable fact that a delete decision, decide on the ntfs partition and hit d for delete. that is going to delete the partition and each thing on it alongside with all your data, then you fairly might might desire to reboot, however the subsequent time you will get an option to create a partition on the unfastened area, try this it will make it easier to format the rigidity and setting up new.

Where did you get your computer from? You can always call them to get your copy of Windows.
What you are asking can be done by reformating your hard drive. Make sure you backup all your files before you reformat it. Reformating will erase everything on your computer and start fresh.
Make sure you get your drivers before reformating.

not all data is lost...bits and peices stay on your hard drive until they get overwritten so be careful so if you you're trying to hid something your best bet would be to destroy the hard drive in its entirety because any even slightly experienced I.T. can recover most of the files
