Rarely. The laptop is basically built all around that processor. It is usually almost as expensive to do this at to replace the whole thing.

I don't believe it is possible. Do you know for sure it needs a processor? A new laptop is in order. Good luck.

depends, some can be, but most can not. not much room in there. take it to a tech.
