the results came up negative....i had "protected" sex exactly 1 week ago....the day i had sex was the last day of my period...are the results accurate because i saw on tv it says take it a couple days b4 your missed period but i was so stressed and i needed to know!!! please give me some advice

If you had protected sex on the last day of your period you are not pregnant. When you have a period it is releasing the egg and your uterine lining is so thin when it does that it would be near impossible to get pregnant. If it was right before your period or a week or so before your period, I would be concerned about a mis-read on the test you took. But I am 99% sure the test is accurate.

No, no... You can take it up to four days before your next period is due. If your period just ended a week ago, count 28 days from the first day of your last period.. then you will have reliable results. The test will not read anything now.

If you had sex on the last day of your period, then you are gonna have 2 wait until ur next period. Then i think you should take the test but wait like 2 days for ur period if not then take the test !

You took the test way too early if you just got off of your period. If you are pregnant, you'll need to wait until after your missed period, because until then your body won't be producing enough of the hormone to make the test positive.
I don't know what "protected" you are talking about, but you should always be using condoms if you don't want to get pregnant (or take some birth control!)
Don't test again until after you miss your period. You'll just be wasting money.

well chances are that you aren't if you were protected and it was the last day of your period. But if you were it would be too soon to tell, you would have to wait 2-3 weeks

no.. you have to wait another month... the code word was you take it a couple of days BEFORE YOU MISSED your period... if you just got over your period, how could you have missed it... i am confused... and if you had protected sex, i think you are going to be ok

its 5 days before you start and 5 days after you stop that you're ok. don't worry about it. if you were still on your period that day then you're most likely not pregnant. just take another test in about 2 weeks to see. and don't have unprotected sex till then.

You took it waaaay too early. Give it another couple of weeks, then retest. But I would chill in the meantime, and relax.
