I usually stretch everday to work on my flexibility but I skipped wednesday because of the amount of homework I had. And yesterday I wasn't feeling well and my muscles were extremly sore but today I feel a lot better. I stayed home from school to rest awhile and it's kind of been a lazy day. I feel a little guilty for not stretching the past two days and I want to stretch tonight but i can't seem to find any motivation, tips?

If you don't stretch today it will be even worse the next day. You will feel even worse about it tomorrow if you don't do it today.

Think of how much you want to be flexible. If you don't stretch everyday you can still get there but it will take longer. Even once you get your split or whatever you still have to stretch to keep it, but the more you stretch the easier it gets!

Well what you just said would have motivated me. I FEEL REALLY BAD... Also remind yourself that you will feel better when you stretch and it will keep you fit.

oh wow i have this same problem! Just keep an eye on your goal: for me its to have my whole hand touch the ground while standing and to be able to do the splits!
you inspired me to keep at it, good job!

think about all the benefits of stretching.... and convince yourself that you really like it and that you're doing it for fun, not as an obligation to your esteem.
