I did some brief research on the web site noted.
The other answers are correct, the copper does react with the skin. It may even turn it green. The way I understand it, that is indicating that the copper is doing its work and entering your skin as it should.
The thing is, peoples body chemistry's are different and will react differently to metals on the skin.

It's a theory, but, the green is copper oxide, perhaps one of the bangle is better quality than the other.
