This year, here's how it works:

NFC - If Giants win, they go to Chicago; Dallas/Seattle winner goes to New Orleans. If Eagles win, they go to New Orleans; Dallas/Seattle winner goes to Chicago.

AFC - If Chiefs win, they go to San Diego; New England/NY Jets winner goes to Baltimore. If Colts win, they go to Baltimore; New England/NY Jets winner goes to San Diego.

There is no bracket. The team with the lowest seed to win the first round would be paired with the #1 seed. The Highest seed to win the first round would play the second seed. NOO BRACKETS.

The lowest ranked seed remaining will go on to the highest ranked seed. For example, if KC beats Indy, they go on to San Diego no matter what since they are the 6th seed. If Indy beats KC and Pats beat Jets, Pats go to SD and Indy to Baltimore.
