I am highly sensitive to it and will even get it on non roller coaster type rides. I was told it has something to do with the g force, but is their anything that can be done to alleviate the feeling. It is soo bad I can't even sit up straight on a ride.

I don't know if this will work for you or not. It works for me. Try screaming really loud, and if possible, push your tummy in as hard as you can without injuring yourself. In some coasters you are in a position that you can't do that, but for the ones you can, try that.
Most people get on the rides to feel that feeling.

The feeling is from negative g-forces, similar to a free fall, that you experience on those drops. Experience is the best and really only way to get rid of the feeling. I used to feel it really bad on coasters that were 80 feet tall, now I barely even feel it on coasters taller than 200 feet. It's part of the challenge of conquering a coaster though. I seek it out now, b/c I'm pretty immune to most drops.

This answer may sound stupid but it really helps. They way to fix it is to go on a lot of rides that give you this feeling. Your body will be a little immune to it. My friend is a roller coaster junkie and when he goes on smaller ones he doesn't feel it at all. You can't eliminate it completely though

I don't know - I think that is why you go on a ride.

I will say when I was 40lb lighter I did not get that funny dropping feeling as intensely as I do, but then again I am also 10 years older, so I don't really know if that has anything to do with it. But when I was younger I had no stomach whatsoever and I do think that is a factor.

The only way to avoid this feeling is to not get into situations when it occurs. Other than that, theres no way to get rid of it.

You get the feeling when you in a state of free falling; when gravity (the force pulling you down) is in equilibrium with the opposing force.

those are maximum usually stated as "butterflies" on your abdomen. It has to do with gravity, and how it acts upon you. it is a small feeling of weightlessness. curler coasters are made to offer you those kinda thoughts. it is what they're all approximately!
