Others here have answered your question better than I can. Give someone else the 10 points. I think what you truly want to know is what are the really good banned books in history. I nominate "The Provincial Letters" of Blaise Pascal. It's no longer banned.

I got a list of commonly banned books on a bookmark from my local library. They are seriously down on censorship there!

Ask the group banning books, or ask the school board in your area, or ask the library or check out free-speech sites, the ACLU, stuff like that. Civil liberties.

It depends on who's banning them. Is it the local school library? Then ask there.
