I feel horrible. When ever i'm around my best friend I tend to be super serious and more moody, and I get sick of her so easily. Me and her have been friends since like 8th grade and for the past year now i've found myself more angry and blah around her.

I mean 24/7 she is always complaining about something or whining about something. Everday she is tired...yes I get that but she doesn't need to say it 20times a day. And that's all she does, complains about little things over and over again Carrying books, tired, psychology homework(for an example today,we have to read 3pages and she's been complaining about it since)

i've told her that she needs to stop complaining about little stuff like that and she's like THIS IS HOW I AM YOU NEED TO LEARN TO ACCEPT ME. I was just telling her that there is so much worse things in the world. She just doesn't get it at all. I'm 16 years old, she's the same age as me.

I feel like the worst friend because I can't tolerate her complaining. It's gone to the point whenever she complains about that I just say "Sorry" or. "ok." because i'm so sick of hearing the same things over and over again. She already seen a doctor and they said it was stress because the blood work showed everything was fine.

BINGO!!!
i have the same situation hereeeee.... hey who the hell told you the story of my life :)))
i got this same friend here, but we are 20 years now... can u imagine a 20 yrs old girl complaining about any and everything?, doesn't like anything... and aslo make out excuses to be mad and hate her life more and more...
she was my friend from high school, and when we went to collage together she got more and more boring, and i found myself being that awful friend who doesn't listen to her best friend... I HATED THAT... till i got to meet other ppl and i managed to make a grp out of 6 gurlz, and ofcourse she was one of them, but my point was to find some sympathy from my friends when i'm boiling out of her... we made a very nice grp, and i'm now having more than one best friend, and also i'm not the only one who has to hear those complains, so the pressure really decreased... "wicked ha?? :)) "
nah i luv her and everything, and what i've done really was useful for both of us... she will not be mad at me when i act so cold with her, and i'm not in a frequent contact with her all the time so i'm not really mad cuz when i need some fun i just call one of the other gurlz and we have that kind of interesting talk...
i hope u understand, and i hope you got what i meant... and i surely hope u won't misunderstand me and think i'm a terrible friend... "trust me she's happy too"
goodluck

There is an old saying "Laugh and the world laughs with you, cry and you cry alone." It is very difficult to be around people who are constantly complaining...their complaining only makes them feel worse and at the same time they bring YOU down and drain YOUR energy.

You are a good friend, most people would have dropped your best friend by now. When your friend complains, don't complain back to her, but gently remind her about the good things in her life. For example, a friend was complaining about her mom and I reminded her about someone in our class who's mom had died and how much she missed her. There's another quote I remember, "I cried because I had no shoes until I saw a man who had no feet."

Remind your friend that HER life is GOOD.
