It's a Tony Electric Appliances TL-188 with two bulbs, one redish and one bluish?

I cannot locate this lamp on-line, but it is probably neither UV-A nor UV-B. Bulbs that offer UV-B brag about it on their packaging so you can just go back to the store and check out the box.

The bulb itself will specify whether its is one or the other if not both. It sounds like you have a nocturnal bulb and an infer-ed bulb which the red would then be strictly heat. Fluorescent bulbs are the only true way of mimicking UVA & UVB

You can't tell by what kind of lamp you have. the only thing that matters is what kind of bulb you have. And you can't tell by the color of the bulb. you need to look on the box that the bulbs came in it should say there. If not it might say on the bulb but it can be hard to find, usually near one end, and some times its not even on there.

both of there are basic night light's UVA to provide heat not a light UVB sourcer that is a seperate light usualy a florsent or a clear bulb. also there are several light spectrums form desert to jungle to look at.

They sound like just plain colored bulbs to me.
