I don't think I really understand your question... bad in what sense? Because I'm on the pill and I love it.

The patch provides a higher dose of hormones, and thus, is worse if you are prone to side effects, either irritating (nausea, acne) or dangerous (blood clots). However the patch is better in the sense that you don't have to remember it at the same time every day. Your doctor can give you good advice for your particular situation.
