If someone is shot in the head but isnt dead and the person is being investigated for a possible shooting would it violate any rights if the court ordered the person to get the bullet removed from his head.

the person was involved in a shooting and the bullet in his head could prove if he was the person who fired the first shot.

It would violate rights if there isn't a court order. An invasive procedure would have to have a warrant. If it is a life threatening procedure, that wouldn't mean that it would be a violation of the persons rights if there is a warrant, but I can't actually see any judge authorizing a warrant that could cause death.
Non invasive procedures such as, fingerprinting, breathalyzers... etc.. you do not need a warrant,
Invasive, things such as DNA, you would need a warrant.

most likely... if the bullet is lodged in their head then it probably can't be removed without fatality to the victim. In general the courts can't determine what can happen with a persons body. Now in special circumstance I know the courts have ruled that certain things can be removed, but a bullet in the skull.... most likely not. That involves bypassing several violations.

Just because he's got a slug in his head, that doesn't mean squat. Could be, he was an innocent bystander, wrong place at the wrong time. Unless a gun is found with his prints (or residue is found on his hands), or a witness pimps off on him, what are you going to hold him for? Other than medical treatment...

Americans have the right to refuse hospital care....why not just shove him to the side, let him die then charge the other person? If he was involved who cares who shot first?

I don't think you can force someone to risk dying to pick up some evidence.
