Okay, I'm a teenager, still in HS, not close to graduation, but not a freshman.LOL. Anyway, I'm interested in starting a business this summer. A shoe label, to be specific. I have the funds, but what do I need, do I need a license, anything, please. I don't want to pay for an advisor, so I'm going to play it by ear.

there is start up money from the government for young people to start companies. i was told that by my h.s. teacher (2 girls did ) all i remember is that you get a grant for this money, you need to write a proposal and they will help you get started.
