No, You can't play mpeg videos either, but you can still watch youtube movies or Ifilm stream movies. and did you know there are now web sites that are specailized for the wii web browser such as Wiicade.com or Wiiarcade.com, Don't worry though this is just the trial version, I think we'll be able to download mp3's when the real version comes out.

Not right now but you could go on singingfish.com. Also nintendo should have an update in the future for a music channel like the weather.
