When they are in the shed of the (voodoo?) woman named Tia Dalma did anyone else notice 2 things? Number one is the small locket with a womans face and crab claws. It is intentionally shown on her table and then later on Davy Jones's organ. When Will wakes Jones while taking the key, the locket's music soothes Jones back to sleep. What are your thoughts on that connection?

Also, Jack Sparrow gives her the undead monkey (also named Jack) as payment for her help. The undead monkey used to belong to Sparrow's first mate, the pirate Barbossa. After Tia Dalma lets the monkey out of the cage, the first thing it does is run to a side room. Later the camera shows it playing with a propped up pair of boots. Boots that look suspiciously like Barbossa's...was he in the Tia Dalma's cabin throughout the whole movie or am I just looking too deep?

you are correct. but you are wrong when you say that the locket is a woman's face with crab claws. its intentionally supposed to be a heart with crab claws. there is also a similar symbol on the chest of davy jones that which holds his heart. before the key is inserted and the chest is opened, it appears to be a heart. but when the chest is opened with the key, the symbol turns into a crab (which also symbolizes Tia). and i know that Tia was Davy Jones' love for which is took his heart out. its pretty obvious. how do you think she knew so much about the woman that Jones' loved? answer: because it is her. and also, i think the man that Tia left Jones for is Capt. Jack because there is a line in the movie that Capt. jack says "i thought i knew you" and this is along with many other things that he says that points in the direction of it being him. (it can also explain why Jones hates Sparrow so much)

and yeah, the boots were the boots of Barbossa. thats why the monkey went to him. i think he pretty much was there for the whole movie or at least until after the part when we see his boots.
hope i could help!!!!! ;)

First off, it wasn't a shed. It was more like a treehouse. The hints you described in your first little paragraph are talking about what was later explained in the movie. They are obviously Davy Jones's lady's trinkets. Anyway, that's the whole reason he sealed his heart in the chest, so that he wouldn't have to feel the pain of his lost love or w/e. About the monkey and the boots, yes I noticed that at first too. I figured it was him. I was just wondering when they would bring him into the story and yeah, he probably was there the whole time, doing what...idk.

I didn't remember the undead monkey boots part, but if that happened it seems very symbolic.

also the reason the locket soothes jones back to sleep is because if the locket stops playing, it means his heart is not safe. it soothes him because it tells him that his heart is ok at the moment.
