Tough one with all those factors. A few of them weigh very heavily in favor of a few countries. Science and Tech would likely go to Germany or England for example. However, I believe the real answer is China. They may not seem an ally but they really are. A HUGE portion of our national debt is in their hands. They our one of our biggest trading partners and they just keep growing. Through sheer size of their military they've kept the region stable and while I hate to say this, the fact they don't use as many protocols for medical research as we do and the fact that the culture is so old have given them insights into R&D. In that aspect though, I wouldn't view it as fully positive. Hitler did great things for medicine too but at what cost. Politically is where they fall short. We're working on that slowly though, through the people. A few more generations and things might change there for the better.

if we have a ally left it would almost certainly be England, as far as I know they haven't sold us out yet , but I don't think they will support us again in our endeavors to over throw anymore gov,if you are pro Jewish or Jewish your self you are probable wanting answers to be Israel , but, they have sold America out so many times I don't consider them our Ally's , when they gave Russia our radar secrets for our guided missiles and almost caused us to be attacked by Russian nuclear subs, in the 80s and the fact that they either gave or sold the plans for the silent propeller for our Los Angles class subs to Russia, the attack on the U,S,S Cole killing our men etc, when our ship was flying American flags, or the rape of America thru, their bribery of our politicians and the Federal Reserve, all the wile we are giving them $11 billion per year for the so called holocaust fund plus billions in military hardware, grants etc the list is endless, gratitude ???
how many other underhanded things should I mention?

Israel. It will stick by the U.S. thick or thin. All the other allies may switch sides, depending on what's beneficial for them.

Canada... our number one trading partner, and we share a three thousand mile border that we really don't have to defend... plus, Canadians are way cool.

The Bank of China. If they ever call in all the money you owe them, it's bye bye to the greenback.
