Was it a certain color? Gravity? How was it "made"? How did it get started? (You don't have to answer all of them.)

there is no way to know any of these things, even speculating is silly

By "before out of space" I assume that you want to know "before the Universe (as we know it)".
This is simple to answer, but difficult to understand...
BEFORE the Universe did not exist, because TIME did not exist.
(I know, difficult idea to grasp: time HAS a beginning!)
Our Universe started at the Big Bang, and Time started to exist "at the same time" :-). Before, there were no "space" as we know it, nor "time" as we know it.
There MIGHT have been something else, but we have no way of knowing, not even imagine!
There was no colour: there was no light. At the BB, was only energy, and photons (i.e. LIGHT (or colour)) was created later.
There was no gravity (before). It came at the same time as ... time!

The big bang started everything off. It Made loads of dimensions and loads of matter that flew into the dimensions. Some dimensions are believed to not have expanded much, and stayed very small (10^-33 cm).

It doesn't make any sense to ask "what was there before time, or before space". The universe exploded out of a singularity, a point of infinite mass and gravity. "Before time began" doesn't make sense because there was no "before".

That one of those things our little bitty brains can't comprehend...
Outer space has always been. Universal time is measured in billions of years and people time is minutes and seconds.

I think it is impossible for us to ever see outside our universe or to see time before the initial conditions at the time of the creation.

So what is beyond the limits of time and space is in God's realm not ours.
