If your "con" folder is located in c:\con for example, remove it with this command from the command prompt (start > run > cmd)

rd \\.\c:\con

If it was on your desktop, and your account name was Bob:

rd "\\.\c:\Documents and Settings\Bob\desktop\con"

etc. You must put the "\\.\" before the full path to it.

it may be a certificate file for a program or a website you visit to learn more go here

If it's not needed anymore, it's probably running in the background of your pc. Right click on the Windows Taskbar, click on Task Manager, click on Processes tab and see if its there, if so and your current configuration isn't dependant on it you can select it and then click the End Process button at the bottom. If it lets you delete it then it's not an active process that the computer depends on. Then delete the file...but this is a tricky area so don't empty your recycle bin for a few days make sure it doesn't cause a crash if it does go into Recycle bin and restore it.

You shouldn't be able to even create a folder with that name.

Go into Command Prompt and try and delete it that way.

Or try restarting Windows. It might be a fluke.

"con" its the logical name for console.

how did you create a folter with that name, because windows does not allow to use it as a valid name.

I am almost sure you create it with a special program or software, so, maybe using that same software you can remove it.
