i am looking at high schools.
i am in all gifted classes.
i am looking at a private catholic high school. 97% of those who go there get into higher level colleges. it doesnt offer as much as the public high school. the private school costs 11000 per year and it doesnt hav good programs for gifted students-they dont evn hav science labs which the public school does. however at the public school i will be with the same ppl and i am sick and tired of some ppl in this world. at the private school i could start fresh without anyone hating me or any rumors. private school also has uniforms which i would like. there is not one gang at the private school and its safe. i want a good college education (columbia). which school should i go to for high school?

It sounds like you've really been trying to weigh the pros and cons out. Good for you!
What do your parents have to say about this? $11000 is a lot of money. Will you be getting some sort of scholarship or something? Or can your parents afford it?
I don't know why, but my particular bent here would be to recommend the private school. Perhaps it's what I'm seeing as deep desires you have that will be met by going to the private school. Your focus is on your education, whereas it's hard to be focused on your education in a public high school without being looked upon as weird or nerdy. You've got issues with the people in the public school. The private school has a few perks that you'd enjoy.
As for the lack of science labs, I really wouldn't worry about that. I went through public school science labs and while they were interesting, they weren't crucial to my education. I mean, if I hadn't done them, I wouldn't be a total lab idiot if I'd had to do a lab in college.
Ultimately, go with your heart. What is it saying? If you take the public school route, what sort of regrets might you have, do you think? If you take the private school route, what sort of regrets might you have?

I would go to the public collage. Public schools allow you to socialize with other people and will prepare you for real life scenarios. Although the private school will result in a high education you will not benefit from experience, such as a science lab. If i were you i would go to the public collage.

If it were me id stay at the public school. Our high school only has about 600 students so yours might be different. But my feeling is that it would do more harm then good. It would cost alot and you would have to leave friends that you might already have. And you said that they don't have good labs. So really its you choice.

go to a public school. sure private schools can sometimes offer a better education but public schools can teach you things that cannot be taught at private schools.

public school is much better u dont have to pay all that cash wen u can get the same education if not better in a public school and u also dont have to where a dorky uniform

public is better as if you go to private is more lonely the truth, because i got go to the private school it is so boring and i studied one year then change to public school, so dun go to my footsteps and gd luck!

it all really depends on where you feel comfortable...although i have to say i really did love my old catholic high school.
