Condemn the use of racism, yet use it as a tool or weapon to try and make some point. Paul ince said premiership chairmen are racist because there are no black managers in the top flight. Firstly there are a 100 white managers to every black 1, so getting 1 within 18 premiership teams is going to be difficult. As the chairmen look for the best candidate, not the 1 with the darkest skin, will he now apoligize to them, as they are not racist.

Perhaps he thought this would force 1 of them to offer him a job, not likely now, is it time black people stopped relying on racism as a form of argument?

there are many people answering this question who are claiming that the word black has been used wrongly.mr ince was the first person to use this very word very remiss of him.
alex ferguson(scottish)
mourinho(portugese)
wenger(french)
just to name three of the current managers in the premiership i am sure none of them are british.
henry,robbin,eboe,ballack,etc,etc,etc,
70%of prem players are from distant shores.
does not look quite so much like the chairman are racist just paul ince a very stupid man.

well you phased your question in a racist manner!

you should have said
Is this racism?

Instead you took one person with black skin statements and lumped all people with black skin, saying "why do black people?"

Now to answer your question

IS there a large group among blacks that feel they are discriminated against? Yes

Should there be more people of color in higher positions in sports? yes

Does that mean that the best qualified person should not get hired based on skin color? NO

IS there institutional racism that does not allow people of color to advance into management as quickly as others? Yes

Did Paul Ince make a stupid statement based on emotions that does not help racial relations? Yes

Does it appear you have some angst toward people of color? Yes

Does that make you a racist? No

Do people of color perpetuate race problems as much as whites? Yes

Does racism still exist? Yes

Will Paul Ince's statement make people examine racism more closely? Hopefully!

Is this the best answer? Most definitely!

Ince ignores the number of better white players than himself-Bobby Moore -Bobby
Charlton to name but 2,who couldn't hack it as managers.Just like
Ian Wright rants about an average game from a black player as great.Ince is following the black trait of expecting a leg up because
of he's colour.

Not just black people - are we even allowed to say that? I am very old and remember being told to say "coloured" then being told that was wrong then told various alternatives - then being told that THEY were all wrong too! - so is it socially acceptable to say "black people" now without being accused of racism?

... a lot of minority groups use this to their advantage by claiming discrimination. Irish, Welsh & Scottish to name but three - and Scottish people are so white they are pale blue (Source: Billy Connelly)

I do see your point, as a percentage of population it would be odds on that there wouldn't be a black manager, but over all the years has there been one

and you spolied it by starting with 'why do black people'
instead of why did this person...
that's racist

One of the answers was degrading and hurtful, i do not think that Paul Ince used this as a way to force a chairman to offer him a job. He simply just spoke his mind, why should people hold back with what they think.

You are actually a racist, you cant generalize like that, if i was to say all white people were chavs would you like that? You cannot take all people for the colour of a race. It is a disgrace and you should be ashamed.

You are incorrect to say that every member of a race is a certain way. I am black, yet I never use racism as a form of argument. Saying that every person of one skin color is the same way is the basis of prejudice and racist sentiments, so let's stay away from that bud.

Think you are right, SOME think they are downtrodden and play the race card way too much. This makes it worse for genuine cases.
