Tutankhamun
discovered by British Egyptologist Howard Carter (employed by Lord Carnarvon) discovered Tutankhamun's tomb (since designated KV62) in The Valley of The Kings on November 4, 1922 near the entrance to the tomb of Ramses VI, thereby setting off a renewed interest in all things Egyptian in the modern world. Carter contacted his patron, and on November 26 that year both men became the first people to enter Tutankhamun's tomb in over 3000 years. After many weeks of careful excavation, on February 16, 1923 Carter opened the inner chamber and first saw the sarcophagus of Tutankhamun

I think the answer you're looking for is Tutankhamun, whose tomb was found in the Valley of the Kings (tomb number 62) by Howard Carter. However, in actual fact his tomb *had* been plundered, shortly after he was buried, although not a lot was taken and the tomb was resealed afterwards.

It is the most complete tomb of an Egyptian ruler to be uncovered, but we are pretty certain that it doesn't even come close to containing the sorts of treasures that longer-lived Pharaohs would have been buried with. The tomb of Yuya and Thuya (Valley of the Kings 46) was more richly appointed, and they were only the parents of Tiye, the wife of Amenhotep III.

Tutankhamun.

Although, in fact, the tomb was *not* completely unplundered. However, the riches of what remained in the tomb more than made up for the fact that it was not intact.
