it's going to be hard to find a replacement for bill cowher.if the right person takes the job.they've got very big shoes to fill.

They've got to hire someone in thier own organization. They have three top candidates, as well in Grimm (OLine/Asst. Head Coach), Dick Labeau (Defensive Coordinator), and Ken Whisenhunt (Offensive Coordinator). All of these guys have SB rings and can get the job done. It looks like Grimm will probably get the job, its been rumored that Cowher told Rooney that Grimm will make the best head coach. Well see, though.

I think go outside & fund some new blood. Sure, these coaches have been there a long time, but there is only 1 superbowl ring...

I miss Coher too.

I think that if they can get Grim or Wisenhunt theu should because they are pretty good coaches and have been with the orginization for a while.

I think it would be better to hire from inside if you want continuity but if you go outside you never know you might find someone who will as good or better job than Cowher.

If they go with the players they will hire from inside although it was Rooney Jr that instituted that all teams must interview at least 1 minority candidate.
