You see them everywhere these days. And they always have the same look, like a uniform. It's like they all hang out together, probably shop and sh*t together too. It's generally white people from the suburbs who just moved to the big cities. Do you agree with my observation?

No I don't think there's anything wrong with skinny jeans, so no I'm not a hater. I wear them myself but I find it strange when a whole group of people wear the exact same haircut and pants etc and have that look on their face. I remember that look from pictures of punk bands from late 70's to 80's. I believe that style is to be imitated but these people are mimicking and try to pass it off as their own. Have you noticed that our generation is completely lacking of an icon like they had in the 60's? Is there an edie sedgwick of our time? NO! It's sad.

It's strange. I see them everywhere. I live in ny also. They always have this scowl or proud, arrogant look on their face. And yes sad to say, they are mostly white (as I am white also). Don't get me wrong I think skinny jeans are awesome. I wear them too but I don't do the whole look (the jeans with the black converse, greasy hair, some old ratty top). Some of these "hipsters" they wear the ones that are so tight, all their junk is on display. Like I need to be able to map someone's intestines every day. I have mixed feelings about them as I also dislike that valley/guido look. Anytime I go out in manhattan, I see these guys wearing dress shirts with some ill-fitting stonewashed jeans and square toe kenneth cole shoes. And the girls are worst, most of the time they look like pageant whores (best example, the former miss nevada).
Basically, I feel that our generation now have less and less originality. Thanks a lot abercrombie!

Yeah, I actually wear those jeans. Why? Because I'm 5'10 and weigh 125 soaking wet. Regular jeans don't fit my body. They're either too short or have too big of hips/butt/thighs.
I'm happy as hell for the trend because it allows a girl like me to look good for once in jeans.
I also have shaggy hair. I like layers, what can I say.
I don't know anyone else, however, who dresses like me. I'm often pointed out as too 80s.
Really, who cares?
It's fun to sit around and dog on everyones style. Chances are people who do it lack any what so ever.

sure you may, you actually ought to locate the right fit and sweetness. do not even imagine about basic jeans with higher thighs. bypass for a dismal blue or black skinny jean and do not placed on residences with them. ascertain you position on a shoe with a heel or a wedge to really extend you out and delivers the phantasm that you're taller and in turn, make your thighs look thinner.

Are you talking about the people who wear 2 shirts a day?
Like a fitted tee, then a spaghetti strap over that? They're everywhere around here.

I think it's like, ttly wrong to judge ppl from their style of dress. A lot of my guy friends dress like that, and who gives a crap? They like it, and it's really not that bad. If you don't like it, don't dress like that!
