it depends on what she's into...some girls are really grown up when they're 12 and are into boys and clothes...and some 12 year olds are still little kids. It's a tough age to buy for. Maybe stick with a CD or DVD.

From my point of view, I think scrapbooks, journals, CDs, iPods, and ceramic ornaments might be cute for preteens!

make up and jewelery definitely! or if they are into a certain sport something to do with that!
