I was once told that don't volunteer for anything after marriage because it will become your job forever! With that said I guess there are jobs that are done by him that you will not do unless he is a total slug. Yard-work, Fixing broken things around the house and repair and schedule repairs on the autos etc. If that is the case maybe just coming up with a list of things that need to be done and dividing up the work between the both of you. Just be careful if you ask him to do ironing or laundry make sure that he understand how to do things like that or you will end up with your favorite clothes might not be the same. Don't nag and pitch in. In that way getting things done knowing that its not all one sided. Good luck

Your husband has to want to help you. He is not going to just up and do it one day. But you can't expect him to read your mind. You have to tell him that you need his help. Making a man feel needed and respected for what he can do will always get what you need. Whereas if a man makes us, women, feel loved and secure he can get what he needs. So, no badgering, just talk.
