you have children and you get sentenced to life in prison. What happens to all your money?

I'm sure most of it would be burned up on my legal defense team.

But I think what you want to know is that you would set up a trust to provide for your children as they grow and eventually turn it over to them.

That would depend. If your money was obtained by the illegal activities you were convicted of, the police will take your money. But if not, whatever restitution you owe will be taken, and the rest can be signed into a trust account of some sort with the help of your attorney and your kids will live off of it.

I don't see how being rich is filthy. The money will still distributed as you wish. Prision doesn't take away you right to handle your money.

i would use it to buy protection for me while i was on the inside, this way my innocence wouldn't be violated :)
