Where should I stay Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney?

I'm moving to Australia in July but I'm not quite sure where should I stay. I'm graduating with a double degree in accounting and finance. Which city would be good for my fields? Also, what would be more convinient in terms of living, transportation, meeting people, and career?

Newcastle. Not a massive city, but offers plenty of jobs and is pretty close to Sydney so you could easily commute there but live in Newcastle and avoid the craziness.
