I can't get the Goggle videos or any video to play on my Compaq laptop, why?

I got my son a laptop but we can't play any video on it. It says it came with a video card and it is dvd capable... but when I hit the Google video it just comes up blank. Any idea what I can do to fix this?

You need to install Macromedia Flash

Check if you have the appropriate card installed!

you might need a codec or install latest windows media player
