Harvard or Stanford. Harvard has the better overall academic rep, is in a great city, still has sports, etc. Stanfords better in everything beyond academic rep and possibly the city (Palo Alto isn't a big city, which may or may not be a bad thing). Sports, weather, etc are all far better than Harvard, while not losing much in academic rep.

Columbia University- an Ivy League school in the middle of Manhattan. The campus is absolutely gorgeous- every building is well maintained and easy to find, the lawns are pristine, and the architecture is outstanding. Plus all of NYC is just a subway ride away.

depends on your major.... Harvard is great (for lawyers) but would be a terrible choice for a design student. Pick your major first then pick your school.. if you are undecided then go to a community college your first year so that you dont waste money or your time.

Yale as the only 7 sister skool. But VT and Texas A T M and NYU are all great. I like there teaching styles.

UC santa barbara is near the pacific ocean and is a great university to go to and it also displays really nice scenery
