I think if it was a major concern your doc would have said something. My baby went to the docs today too. He was 97th percentile for height and 75% for weight. Doc said that was really good, so maybe you can go by that. I don't think its a big deal all baby's grow at different rates!

Well, my daughter weighed a lot less at 3 months, only about 10 lbs, but she didn't gain quickly and that was about the 50 percentile for girls. Boys are supposed to be slightly bigger. As for the height, we went in inches and she was about 24 inches tall. Again though, boys should be taller. Still, I am only 5'2" and my hubby only 5'8", so we're both pretty short! I bet your baby is just bigger because of the height you both are. I wouldn't worry! Plus, I know kids who by 6 months weighed 25 lbs and they are older now and perfectly healthy and average sizes. Nothing to worry about!

Relax...babies are born and some grow faster. My son is 2 and is almost the height of a 4 yr old. My cousins baby was 17lbs at 3 months. They slow down. You are both tall so you naturally you should expect a tall child

wow! my first weighted about 9lbs and my second about 10lbs! he's a big baby. But fat babies are so cute, he'll loose it when he starts moving around.
