I did ALOT of cleaning in private homes and businesses. I based my prices on the amout of time it would take me, depending on if its general cleaning ..sweeping, dusting, bathroom.ect. or scrubbing walls, waxing floors then charge an hrly wage plus supplies....bussinesses, I would charge a flat rate a room... alot of your prices will depend on where you live. (the general income)
Hope I helped you a little.

Honestly, the very best way to figure out how much you should charge is do surveys of your public. Your competitors may have their prices over-priced, so they are not accurate. By surveying (asking questions) to people who actually use your types of services, you can get a better idea of how much they are willing to pay, and what they expect in return. You can then price accordinly.

Don't forget to know what your costs are going to be so you can be sure to have a profit margin that you can live with.
