Receiving YM doesn't cost you anything but replying will cost you Php2.50 per message for Globe (I don't know with other telecoms).

Just be sure to enroll your mobile number in Yahoo Messenger so you can always be online (with "I'm on SMS" status).

Sending or receiving txt msgs via Y!M shouldn't cost you anything.

But I don't think you could send/receive txt msgs via Y!M to/from any Philippine mobile provider. I tried sending a txt to my cousin's Smart phone from Y!M a couple of months ago and it bounced.

The only other way around that would be via email. But that's not SMS.

No if she has infinite, than no it wont value her. and that i'm particularly specific you do no longer would desire to pay something the two. approximately you receiving messages i'm undecided, according to probability somebody else would supply you a hand. Sorry!

where are you from or the one you are sending the message to? if one is abroad, i suggest to just use a roaming service from what ever telecom company you prefer because sending and receiving message from YM is not assured.. im here in the US, i prefer using my globe network to receive messages from the phil and my US provider to send one.. also try chikka..

but to anser your question, receiving message from YM is free.. sending one from your cell would cost P2.50..

Yahoo doesn' charge you anything, but your cell phone provider does depending on your plan.
