Thanks for the answers there all good heres some more info though.
You have had fresh water to drink the whole time your starving. After using all your fat cells for energy your body is now starting to use your muscles as energy sources. THIS IS THE ONLY FOOD IN 3 WEEKS.

I think I would look around for any natural plant life that might be edible first.
You can survive many weeks if the only thing you have is fresh water. Without fresh water you can only last a few days. So I think water is much more important than food.
If there was nothing else, not even water, eating a person might give you some temporary satisfaction, but I doubt very much if it would save your life.
As far as the question, would I eat them, probably not.I don't have a moral problem with eating another person, but I would never eat my cats (they are like my children), so I doubt I would eat a person.

I don't think I would. I wouldn't be able to live with myself.

The human body can go for a LONGGGGG time without food, but WATER is another story - believe it's only 72 hours.

Some internet websites tell tales of people on hunger strikes lasting for 60 days or more just on water. The body turns on itself and uses stores of fat to survive... but water IS the staff of life - without it, you're dead.

I wouldn't, because even though the person is dead and it would help me survive, I would have to live with knowing I ate someone for the rest of my life. I think I would rather just be dead. Plus, even after I ate the person I might still never be rescued. I wouldn't want the last thing I did in life to be eating a person.

No. It's degrading & disrespectuful to the person you're eating's family.
