I have started doing a Brazilian wax on myself no help.
But, sometimes it gets to be too painful on the sensitive skin that I would rather have a professional do it so the stips just get ripped off in one try.
I think your business will be a hit. Go for it.

I wax...but i do it at home. Most Salons here offer waxing, but i'm not going to pay more for someone else to do it, when I can buy strips at the store that will last for a couple of months and they cost less than one session at the salon. Now if you offered a cheaper electrolsis, that I would consider. I have PCOS, which is a hormonal syndrome and causes excess facial hair for me, and I have darker hair on my arms, so I wax my face and arms. So you can see how this is very expensive at a salon vs doing it at home. I'm lucky enough to have a 12 yr old, who likes to help pull off the strips lol! I think he just likes thinking he's hurting me :)

speaking professionally, check into getting insurance for your 'studio' first, waxing or removing hair is a hard one to get coverage for since there are so many things that could happen to a person and they could sue or at least make a claim on your business ins.

I wish we had a place here because I am such a baby. lol. It takes at least double the time and more pain doing i myself. Besides, I wouldn't ask someone else to do it so I'd go if that helps

I prefer electrolysis. Maybe you can learn that and give it cheaper than anyone else?
