This is right up my alley! First, be patient. Be gentle with yourself and your skin. It will take time to heal. Also, there is no need to spend the big bucks! Use a good unscented, mild, antibacterial liquid soap, (like you wash your hands with). Wash your face morning and night using a soft washcloth and use a light moisturizer if needed. DO NOT pick or use excessive (harsh) toners, other soaps, scrubs or products. They will irritate the skin and could make it worse. Keep hands away from your face, propping or touching or even sleeping on your hands can add to the problem.
For emergency pimple control, crush a plain aspirin and add water to make a paste. Apply paste to the bump before going to bed and leave it on overnight. The bump should be a lot less red and calmer in the morning. Drink lots of water and take your vitamins. If needed, go seek a doctors opinion. God bless!

Anything containing Benzoyl Peroxide, Quinoderm cream is the only product containing this that you can purchase over the counter, otherwise you have to get it on prescription and if you only get a few spots then your doctor is less likely to prescribe it to you. I swear by the stuff and it really works as long as you follow the instructions - it's really cheap too.
I also use Dermalogica Medicated Clearing gel which is good if those pimples are really pronounced. The whole dermalogica acne prone skin kit is also recommened by a lot of people if you develop bad acne.
Good luck,
Lorna

I have an acne treatment that has won me the best answer better then fifteen times. Often, the person who voted it the best answer was amazed at how well it worked, even those who had severe cases of acne. I'll copy and paste it below.
Use a hot compress on it, and then use cool water to close the pores. Do the process over and over again, about five or six times. Use soap to wash the area, and then treat it with an alcohol soaked cotton ball. It should be gone within five to six hours.
Here are some of the previous comments I got from those who voted it as the best answer,

Go to target, walmart, drugstore, etc and got to the beauty section and pick out acne cleansor. it is best to pick out your own cleansor cause you might be allergic to one of the ingreadients so always pick it out yourslef and read the ingreadeants on the back. And if you are not allergic to anything I HIGHLY recomend proactive adn many stars like jessica simpson and kelly clarkson use the same thing! : ) good luck with your pimples and hope my advice works! : )
