Does it matter which type of caliper I get for my car?

I have a 1989 volvo 740 and I keep seeing ATE and girling calipers. I was wondering if it mattered which type I got

volvo used up to 3 differant sources for thier brake calipers it is best to match what you have.

Always use or replace in pairs .Unless you are a race car driver don`t waste your money put on the oem kind .they work just fine
