It depends on when they talk, how they talk, and how much they talk. It is okay to talk about something that is happening in the movie, for instance, if one person does not understand one part, or if they didn't understand the line that was spoken. Conversations of this nature are, in my opinion, okay, as long as they are kept quiet and breif. The most annoying thing a person and do at a movie is to not shut up. When speaking in a movie theatre, during a movie, one should be aware that there are others in the theatre and those people have not come to hear about one's crush, job, etc. And, of course, it is always annoying to be watching a movie while others talk. It distracts. And then the movie isn't fun.

VERY few things are as irritating as people who go to a movie theatre, and then act as though they're in front of the TV set in their own living rooms.

If they're talking during coming attractions, I usually shoot 'em a nasty look or two. If they're still talking when the feature starts, I'm OUTA there. I'll move as far away from them as possible.

I feel that it is extremely rude for anyone to talk to each other or on a cell phone during a movie. The fact is that going to the theatre is usually expensive, not to mention the popcorn and sodas.

it has gotten out of hand hasn't it? I never liked it. an occassional funny comment ok, but folks think they are supposed to do it now. let's nt even talk about the folks that front when their phone goes off during a movie like they are so important. some movies feel like rock concerts the volume is so loud now.

They should be removed from the theatre after the second offense during the movie and not given a refund. If they do it during a second movie then they should be barred from the theatre for life.

Down right rude. At the last movie one man got a cell phon ecall and proceeded to sit there and talk in a normal voice. He clearly missed the warning about no cell phones. I asked him to leave if he was going to continue to talk.

i do it. i don't care, really, but I've had people get mad at me a few times.

i've always wanted to know how many people actually don't like talking during a movie. The movies say it's common courtesy, and I get that, but sometimes I can get carried away.

Well, i guess i am the only one here that's honest about doing it.

Very annoying & rude, specially if they are constantly talking. I can tolerate a word here or there, but not all the time.
