It may be chilly there in March, but with the weather the northeast has been having, it may well be mild. Pittsburgh is not a bad town for its size. Lot's of culture, but if you want to do the tourist thing, try the inclines to Mt. Washington for a great view of the city, go to a Pens game, Carnegie Museum (Submarine tour is unique), Falling Water (Frank Lloyd Wright house) about 2 hrs east of the city, national aviary, aquarium, zoo. Try going to an ethnic neighborhood for a local restaurant featuring Russian food (there is a good one on Carson St. on the southside). Just some ideas.

Hopefully it won't be freezing. (although we are having a mild winter so far).

There is a bazillion things to see and do!

Carnegie Museum
Andy Warhol Museum
The Strip District - all sorts of Restaurants and Night Life.
Dave and Buster's - Adult version of Chucky Cheese and way better

Find a Barnes and Noble Book store and look inside any of the books on Pittsburgh in the travel section for a full scope of this area. Your guaranteed to simply go WOW! There are too many things to list.

Pittsburgh may well be chilly in March. Take a long a warm coat and plenty of sweaters. There is a lot of theatre in Pittsburgh, and sports are always popular. The scenery around the 'burgh is very attractive and drives in the car will reward you with lots of photo opporunities. By all means, go to Primanti Brothers and try one of their famous sandwiches! Have fun!

There is nothing to do in Pittsburgh besides get rained on, and when I say rained on, it's because everyone there spits when the talk.
The bars there are full of fatties.

If you can get out of it, you should.
