Just be patient with yourself. You'll need more than $50 to get back home. Moving to a new place isn't nice or fun. No, I don't believe now is the time for you to go back to Nebraska. You're gonna have to save your money very hard....and hopefully when you're finished with school, you'll have enough money to survive on several months without a job.........now that'll probably take several thousand dollars.......depending on the cost of living. My advice for you......is to make the best of your situation. Save your money, and PLAN YOUR FUTURE. Who knows, you just may fall in love with someone special in Texas. I wish you the best of luck.

Chin up luvy. You must be in your early 20's? Yes, this can be a very lonely time. Finding out who you are, trying to make your way in the world, and doing it without the support of your family and friends, is hard. I'd say, right now, you don't' have much of a choice. You have to "buck up" (Texan term) and just stick it out, at least for a 8-10 months. You stay at least one year and give it the old "college try". Over this time period start saving your money, and if you really want to move back to Nebraska, then you will find a way back there. But be realistic. Are there jobs there in your field. Maybe you just need to go out and try to meet pple. I know its easeir said than done. But your only choice is to "wait it out" and save some cash; in the mean time, try to have some fun, invite a Nebraskian friend to come visit (or better, move in with you)..but be ware, living with a friend can end friendships. You will find your way through this dark period. God Bless ya darling.

H, you don't give your age, so I'm assuming your a minor? The best thing you can do is to make a plan, save up enough money, and then move back north once your finances are set. Things may seem bad now, but don't worry, not only could they be worse, but things will get better for you. You just have to believe, and try to make new friends in Texas.

Soon you will get over it. At first no one likes change. But in life sometimes we have to. You need to stop acting like a baby. Sooner or later your going to have to give in. You hate it all you want, in feel awful everyday or you can turn it positive. One day your going to make friends. Have a boyfriend. Things will look up for you. You'll see.
