It's actually more like 6 hours, without traffic or accidents if you drive the speed limit on I-35. I don't advise speeding because there are tons of cops on I35. And Austin traffic is horrible & if you drive through there on a game day or during rush hour, it can add another 20 - 30 minutes to your drive. I've made the trip numerous times. I've been known to take 281 to south of Dallas and then get on 35 to avoid the Austin traffic. It adds more miles but it's often a little faster.

The interest marketplace, fee of residing, taxes are all sturdy in Dallas. in case you prefer to stay in Dallas acceptable then make it north Dallas, until you're a expert with an extremely sturdy income and then the situation for a young person is Uptown Dallas. I want the suburbs, yet a vehicle is easily needed until you reside interior the heart of Dallas, because of the fact public transportation is undesirable right here. maximum folk have an excellent attachment to their vehicle and could not provide it up - - I won't. sturdy suburbs for you would be Addison, Richardson, Plano, Las Colinas (it fairly is the northern area of Irving). there are various different sturdy suburbs yet they does not grant as a lot for a single person. As yet another person reported, Austin is a sturdy city. that is talked approximately as the stay music capital of the international. college of Tx has a inhabitants greater than an excellent variety of cities and Austin is likewise the state capitol so which you will detect an excellent variety of scholars, politicians and musicians in Austin.
