Marvin Harrison

Marvin Harrison has been the most consistent wide receiver in the NFL for a while now. Randy Moss doesn't try anymore. He isn't living up to his talent or expectations, and definitely isn't getting the production Harrison is.

It depends. In his late 1990s prime, Randy Moss was arguably the most devastating deep threat the game had ever seen. His downfield acrobatics was one of the truly dominant phenomena in NFL history, up there with Lawrence Taylors mid 80s pass rush, John Elway's late 2 minute-drill heroics, Earl Campbell's unstoppability in short-yardage. He combined 4.4 speed with 6-5 height, long arms and jumping ability. Cornerbacks were helpless.

Now, the guy sucks.

Harrison is good receiver with good speed who runs great routes. His hands are good, not great. He has benefitted TREMENDOUSLY from playing with Peyton Manning, perhaps more than any receiver ever has benefitted from a Quarterback. He'll surely go to the Hall of Fame, but he has never been a dominant player - but then few receivers have ever been (Rice, Moss, T. Owens at times, Roy Green in the early 80s).

So, the short answer is, I would rather have the 1999 version of Randy Moss.

Randy Moss is beast, don't get me wrong, but Marv is way better than him. Marvin is quiet and a playmaker. If Marvin was really out there, like Randy, it wouldn't be "Mossing" I can tell you that. Marvin is also more consistant as Randy is going down in stats this and last year, so far. So the best bet is Marvin, if you want consistancy. If you want a BIG playmaking chance and speed, then pick Randy.

Even though Randy Moss is struggling in Oakland, I'd still pick him. He's much better than Marvin Harrison

Defenently Marvin Harrisson since Randy Moss has been dropping many passes in Oakland and does not want to be playing in Oakland. Hes just another T.O.

Harrison in a heart beat. Much more consistant, great work ethic, great route runner, not a pain in the a$$ like Moss.
