Why is the sky blue? Why do we have waves? And other such scientific questions that curious children might ask.
I already know the answers to these two I just need a site that has answers to those kind of questions.

Try the 'New Scientist' web site -

http://www.newscientist.com/home.ns

these are the people who brought you the best selling books - Does anything eat wasps? and Why don't penguins feet freeze? which answer just the type of questions you posted. I'm reading the penguins one now it answers further questions you never knew you wanted to know the answer to -
Why is snot green
Why do your knuckles crack etc etc

This is a subscription site (for the magazine) but you can surf a lot of interesting stuff on there for free without having to log in.

Go to your local book store's or library's children section. There are books available for any and every situation imaginable. Some of the parenting books and magazines are full of crazy ideas, but your bound to get something out of everything you read. Good luck! It sounds like you are trying to do the best for your child.

as long as you only show your kids the good 5% of the answers, this one is OK!

there's also aqa.com, which has live, real, living breathing researchers doing 24-hour shifts answering ANY question you like - but they want paid, so will only take questions from your mobile phone.
