I noticed on last nights epsiode (1-4-07) that Carrie Weaver no longer uses her cane. Did I miss a few epsiodes? What happened with her leg? Thanks for any information you can give me.

Yup she had hip surgery to fix the limp and to take away her cane. Laura Innes says she doesnt know what to do with her hands now becuase they arnt occupied anymore and now she has to do things with them

She struggled over the decision for a couple of episodes. She felt the disabled leg was a part of her. It was surgery, not robotic.

She had to have an operation which corrected her disability. It happened maybe six episodes ago.

She replaced it with a robotic leg

She had to have surgery or else shouldn't be able to walk at all again.
