I agree with the Clinique. I used it, too. I've had 2 children. I swear by it. There is nothing better. The clerk at the clinque counter can help you find the best shade for you.

As I've said to so many people, something containing Benzoyl Peroxide will work - trust me. Quinoderm cream is the only product containing this that you can buy over the counter [it's cheap too] otherwise you'd have to get it on prescription.
This will help get rid of your acne in a few days which is the best way to hide it (naturally).. But otherwise, try a few good foundations and see what suits you best. But don't pile it on or your acne will just look worse..
I swear by good brands such as clinique but also stuff like No7 is really good too if you want to go cheaper.
Good luck!

You can try Clinique soap and astringent to start the day. Then put on a makeup that is light enough not to cause more problems but heavy enough to cover up. I like Mary Kay and it comes in light, medium, and heavy coverage. Matches skin types well also. I have a very cheap microdermabrasion trick that I use all the time... Lather your skin up with the Clinique soap and then take some baking soda and rub in circular motions. This really helps. I do it like 2-3 times a week. My skin is not perfect but these techniques seem to keep breakouts to a minimum. Happy Cleaning.

I have many clients walk into my studio with acne, scars, birth marks, facial surgery, rosacea etc. looking to cover up without the makeup making more harm then allowing healing time etc.
My favorite natural cover up makeup is Young Blood mineral makeup...it's protective, has great color choices, come's in liquid form which is light and powder form for more coverage.
There are no fillers, has natural SPF, rice powder decreases shine and looks natural.

Well, I used to buy clinique oil free pressed powder foundation, but I noticed it didn't last long and didn't give great coverage. I went to victoria's secret and bought the foundation and it covers everything, it's 19.50, but it's worth it. I have acne prone skin and this doesn't make my skin break out like cover girl does. Don't buy liquid, it cakes, but compact foundation, it's worth it.
