i have read and read over the setup section of the xbox website, but i am trying to make a connection with my pc and xbox 360 so i can stream my music and photos to it, when i go to windows media player 11 it will not detect my xbox and on the xbox it wont detect my pc, do you have to have a media center pc for this to work? i have a network for my dsl and it works fine....any suggestions please i've been trying to figure this out for days now and ready to bash my pc and go get a new media center pc.

What you want is a shared internet connection, such as an internet router through which BOTH your Xbox and the PC to the internet. Then you need Windows Media Connect, NOT Windows Media Player 11. Install WMC, proceed methodically.

Yeah im frustrated too, so i just burn music cds, and my xbox rips the songs off of them.
